From I-395 North:
Take the 14th Street Bridge, stay in the right hand lane and exit onto Maine Avenue. Maine Avenue becomes M Street shortly after you cross 7th Street. Make a right onto 4th Street, then a left onto P Street. Turn right onto Fort McNair.

From Points N.E. of Washington:
Take your best route to reach the Baltimore Washington Parkway/295 South. Exit at Howard Street. Turn right at the light; at the next light, veer left and onto the Frederick Douglas Bridge, crossing the Anacostia River. Turn left onto M Street. At 4th Street, go left. At P Street go left again. Bear left on P Street and look for the gate to Fort McNair on the right.
